Cognition Origin is an independent naming toolkit created by ketty. We help founders, makers, shop owners, and creators explore language before committing to an identity.
What we build
Our library combines 41 use cases with 17 naming approaches. The tools generate suggestions using local word banks and configurable rules, with explanations designed to help you evaluate meaning, sound, audience fit, and a possible story. We do not claim that these suggestions are legally cleared or uniquely owned.
Why two languages
English and Chinese naming involve different sounds, references, and associations. Our guides consider these contexts separately and encourage testing with actual intended users. A translation alone does not establish cultural fit.
Our editorial approach
Guides explain a concrete use case, the chosen strategy, cross-cultural considerations, and practical implementation constraints. Examples are illustrative. We do not publish invented customer endorsements or present generated stories as historical facts. If a page contains an error, send its URL and the correction to our contact email.
